Dental implant therapy has undergone an unprecedented revolution thanks to the introduction of less invasive and highly predictable protocols. The integration between periodontics and prosthodontics has been crucial, considering the provisional as both an aesthetic and surgical element that provides stability to alveolar reconstruction and guides tissue healing. This approach allows for achieving a natural gingival architecture that facilitates the mimetic integration of implant-supported restorations with adjacent teeth. In this talk, we will explore the most advanced techniques to achieve this goal in both preserved and destructed sockets, addressing complex cases immediately, flaplessly, and in a single surgical and prosthetic step.
