With the digital resources available today, we should be able to plan prosthetically guided surgery so that our final result is prostheses with appropriate biological protocols and optimal aesthetic outcomes.
The guided surgery technique allows implants to be placed predictably, improving the emergence profiles of the definitive prostheses. If we also combine this with convergent neck implants, which provide more space for the peri-implant soft tissues, along with provisional prostheses with suitable designs, the soft tissues adapt to the new emergence profiles of the restorations, resulting in tissue thickening. This is crucial for improving the long-term stability of both hard and soft tissues.
In this workshop, we will review the digital workflow protocols that allow us to optimize the placement of convergent neck implants in both high aesthetic demand cases in the anterior sector and in cases involving multiple implant restorations.
