It's all About Chewing! Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and Occlusion
Especially in view of the current discussion about the connection between occlusion and TMD, it will be shown from a practitioner's point of view that stable and trouble-free chewing systems require certain biomechanical principles which for that reason should be realized within an orthodontic and/or restorative treatment. Using many clinical examples, it will also be shown how to treat patients suffering from TMD symptoms by applying these principles.
